[CALV-ARES] WinMor Capabilities for SET?

[N3QHC]

SET (Simulated Emergency Test) always occurs the first weekend of October.
Conducted nationally by ARRL ARES organizations.  So it is Saturday and
Sunday >  October 5 and 6.  Half the time we have a major weather event
(hurricane) in late September and/or October timeframe which requires many
man-hours of EmComm that SET is cancelled.  This year we are half way
through hurricane season without one hurricane hitting the United States!  I
probably just jinx us - lol. 

 

Also, mark your calendar for CF Cycle Event for Sunday, October 20.  It is
an early morning event that ends early afternoon.  Usually, followed by
lunch at Herrington Harbor Restaurant for all participates (cyclists and
hams). > Free tee-shirt, too.

I'm working on it.  I have a new computer since I had WinMor set up last
year so will have to reload some software and test it out.  When is SET?

I will NOT be WinMor capable for -Set this year. Due to renovations, I will
be pretty much shut down.

TO: ALL CALV ARES STATIONS

 

Besides Shawn/N3AE, are there any other stations with WinMor capabilities
and available for SET. Jim/WB3KAS (MDC-SEC) is trying to setup Statewide
WinMor for SET.  Shawn is our primary WinMor station for CALV but like to
have other secondary stations.  Please respond back to me if your station is
WinMor capable and you will participating in SET.
