I'm looking at a vintage Raytheon (built by Belmont) aircraft radio. Guessing late 1940s, as it has a 6L6 and some miniature tubes. I can't find a single mention of it on the internet. I have no model number. It covers beacon band (200-400kHz) and AM broadcast (550-1600kHz), plus there is a "tower" position on the band switch, which I suspect was for either the standard 278kHz or 3105kHz old tower frequencies. There is an xtal in the chassis marked 3023.5 kHz which could be an LO for receiving 3105, but that would imply an IF of 81.5kHz.
An interesting design feature is a knob on the front to select between #1 or #2 vibrator. There is a complex set of links and shafts that operate a toggle switch some 10 inches behind the panel to switch between the two vibrators.

Anyone have any info, or even a good suggestions where to search?
I'm always frustrated at how little information can be found on the internet regarding vintage general aviation avionics compared to most any other type of radio. When I do get a hit for something, it's usually some failing avionics repair shop that wants $25 for a schematic or $50 for a service manual.
