[Boatanchors] Ranger1 w/ keyer?

Hello group,
A question about the Viking-Ranger-I with timed sequence keying. Mine is
coupled to a Collins A75-2 via T/R switch.  I am a beginner learning cw
and wish to use this fine transmitter in cw mode.  I know the ranger
will work as is with a straight key or bug, but I have been encouraged
to learn code with a paddle and electronic keyer (both of which I now
have, and I can go to the straight key as needed too).  However I also
read that the Ranger uses grid block keying and will apply about -50v to
the key contacts @ low mA.  Fine for straight key contacts, but may
damage an electronic keyer.
So... Any relatively inexpensive suggestions to enable use of the
keyer?  Kit, ready made, build my own circuit with parts list and
schematic, different keyer?  I have see a few kits out there but they
seem to now be unavailable.  Ideally this solution would include
full-breakin, but I'm fine with semi-breakin if that's an easier and
less expensive direction.  Please correct any errors I may have made in
my assumptions.
Thanks in advance for advice.  c5.
