But having to fix things to make them work is part of the charm of
old stuff. If it worked right off the bat where would the fun be?
When I first went on the air a neighbor, maybe a block away, had a
Ranger, sounded fine. At the time I knew and talked to at least two or
three hams who lived within walking distance. Times have changed as they
say.
Congratulations. These are actually pretty good transmitters.
