[Boatanchors] Hallicrafters SX-17 Help Needed

I'm currently working on an SX-17. It was a mess when I got it, but it's shaping up as a pretty nice receiver. I love those sets with the German silver dials. 
My question is what is the tolerance of the resistors in that set. Neither Rider's nor the Hallicrafters manual lists tolerance. I'm currently in the process of replacing out-of-spec resistors, and I'd like to avoid replacing resistors than don't need to be replaced.
