[Boatanchors] Linear Tuning in VFOs -- SFW and SFL Variable Capacitors

There are three plate shapes giving different tuning "laws"  straight line capacitance,  straight line wavelength a and straight line frequency.  Most in receivers are a compromise to stretch out the high frequencies but a true straight line frequency cap is difficult to make and tends to be unstable.Sent from my Galaxy
