Well i've got a nice WECO 262 A sitting here.  Is it worth thousands?  A 
good bet for tubes if they would be some of the ones Drake used, 6HS6 
for one.  I've been hoarding the ones i have even though i no longer 
have any DRAKE gear, sad.

After WECO was broken away from AT&T back in 82 or was it 84, they 
really pretty much went away.  If you could only imagine what all they 
did and had their fingers it you would realize what a large outfit they 
were.  A lot of employees  got hurt financially when Judge Green dropped 
his pounder on the desk in that case. Sad for the Bell co's.  
Installation work quality went down hill big time thereafter with all 
the independent installation crews wanting to get a piece of the 
action.  I worked in a Central office and saw it happen.  All we could 
do was shake our head in sorrow that things had come to this.  WECO 
installation work was the best you could ever hope for.
