 Charles,
I'm interested in your p/s. Could you give us details of your design when you have a chance?

Having nearly completed my boatanchor power supply (24-28 volts
unregulated at 150 amps), I have some difficulty in moving it due to the
50+ lb. weight.

The aluminum rack front panel is 1/4" thick, and I've added diagonal
struts to the chassis, so the panel can take the weight once installed
in my rack cabinet. But it would be much easier if I had a pair of
handles mounted to the front. I've done some searching on ebay and there
are plenty of equipment handles, but most are small diameter (hard on
the hands and wrists) and I'd also be concerned that the mounting screws
would break under the load unless the chassis were held vertically.

Looking for recommendations for hefty handles that also look like they
belong there and not on a door ;) thanks.
