Well it was kind of fun and interesting a while, before he acted up.
He wanted more visiting hams to come in and give talks about stuff like
antennas,
and I found a guy in a club in another state who drove out without any
compensation
to be with us one night. He also teaches at a tech college, so he was very
good, and this
other guy was glad to see his request fulfilled. He then said we ought to
try a Skywarn session,
which also happened, and that was a huge turnout by the public, but
unfortunately
no guests showed any interest in ham radio.

Other hams that spoke with me who were in the club previously, said he is a
very difficult person and
is the reason they left. He happens to be extremely smart, and experienced
with ham radio and that is
I guess why he is worshipped without doubt and also he insists on doing
certain key services in the club himself,
with no help and these things have to be done "his way" else he gets into
some loud arguements for all to witness
which is I guess to show everyone hes unstoppable.

A couple of us refer to it as "anal-crainial reversal syndrome". We are not
sure if its chronic or acute....
Hes also about 70 yrs of age, so for the sake of respect for his
contributions to the hobby for many years,
I refrain from confronting him any further on the matter. He does seem
bewildered why when I see him in public,
I dont acknowledge him.
