Your two examples are not equivalent.  Maybe a station wagon will
become in vogue but that's an aesthetic thing to some degree and is
backed by the massive advertising and opinion shaping power of the
automobile industry.  Guitars and music have mass appeal.  It doesn't
take a lot of knowledge to enjoy music and you don't have to know much
about a guitar amp to use it.

On the other hand vintage tube ham radio is something that you first
have to get interested in ham radio to discover, and ham radio
requires a license.  The problem for vintage tube ham radio is that
there isn't much interest in any kind of ham radio these days.   So
before you start to wonder if the classic ham gear will make a
comeback, you firstly have to wonder if ham radio will stage a
comeback.  It's not looking that good to me.
