My ladyfriend's family not long ago sold a house on Cape Cod
belonging to her SK uncle. He was a collector of antiques,
furniture and cars and other stuff. They couldn't give it away.
Young people now don't want anything old.
MY boatanchor radios and old cameras are mostly things I
lusted after when I was young. No one even knows what they are
now. I had a Rolleiflex out in the street not long ago and some
kid said "Is that a camera?" Well, at least digital cameras look
something like 35mm cameras (unless they are cell phones) but a
lot of kids now don't know what a dial telephone is.
