Do they watch all the videos on the VHS tapes and DVD's
to make sure there are no ads on them? Also there may be an
ad in the newspaper you use to pack the stuff into the box.
Media and ads go as far back as the dawn of the newspaper,
radio, TV and even now you cannot surf the web without
making money for an ad someplace.
If the ad was interfering with the operation of their service
in some way then it makes sense, but its inside a box covered with pages
and no one will be looking at them taking them serious.
I guess you may find an RCA ad in there for some tubes, and say there
well RCA is still around and so are tubes, but RCA was bought out by the
Chinese
and they dont make tubes anymore so the ads and the articles are generally
nostalgia, to me anyway.
