Hi Scott,

I have a Ranger here. They didn't make a "Ranger 1" that I know of. Mine
just lacks the "2" :) An old timer gave it to me in appreciation for
taking him to club meetings and hamfests when he could no longer drive
after dark. He also was one my boosters when I studied for my commercial
license. I not only like the Ranger, it also has that sentimental value
so it will only leave after my final QSO.

73,

Bill KU8H

I still have a soft spot in my heart for the Drake 2NT/2C station because when I was a Novice back in 1968, I would see those 2NT/2C advertisements in QST and wish that I could own such a fine station. I was doing well with the Knightkit T-60 and National NC-183 though.
