Hi Dave,

I'm currently in the process of going through a KW matchbox (for the first time).

Sorry I can't help you with the capacitor rotor problem.  As for the missing terminals, what appears to be an exact match for mine:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-EF-Johnson-Ceramic-Feed-Thru-Insulator-Lot-of-3/184504976954?hash=item2af55a863a:g:VgUAAOSwNxdfliT5

I can email a picture of the rear panel if that would help.

BTW, I've tested with 125' inverted V doublet via 600 ohm ladder line.  Also with long wire (against a good earth ground).  Works surprisingly well.  Those old timers knew what they were doing.

Currently have the directional coupler awaiting exploratory surgery.  Works, but does not scale the the meter properly.  Hoping it's something simple and obvious.

The “Matching” variable capacitor will not stay in a “set” position once adjusted and the “rotors” constantly want to hang down at the bottom of the variable capacitor. I don’t see a spring to use to adjust the tension on the shaft so that it stays in place once adjusted for proper tuning. Can someone explain to me how to tighten the tension on the capacitor shaft ?
