This was the power amplifier/power supply for some models of
vintage record player. There seems to be some information on the PS-1
around; I would guess that this unit was very similar. However, some
the tube lineup is not quite the same (PS-4 has 6J5, 2x6V6, 2x5V4 while
the PS-1 had 6L6's and 5U4's instead). The original wiring has been
replaced. I used this unit as part of a homebrew receiver some years ago
and "it worked OK then" :). Very clean under the chassis.
Anyway: 20 pounds unpackaged; 15"x8"x5". Too big to fit the UPS large
Flat Rate Box. I don't think I'm interested in extracting the massive
power transformer.
Yours for the cost of shipping from 92620 plus a latte. USPS or UPS
are OK.
Please reply off net. First (serious) requester wins.
