 Ron,
You can purchase new capacitors with higher voltage ratings from a variety of suppliers..they are getting a little pricey however. For filter caps, I leave the original one in and install new electrostatics under the chassis, of course disconnecting the original filter. This way the rig maintains it's original appearance. Some guys use "stuffed filter caps" that us replacement caps  in the original or similar enclosures.
Just my input..enjoy your new projects...

for my future use, if I can get to the projects in retirement (if I
can get to retirement :-)  I have a couple of project radios in need of
parts that are no longer common.  To start with, the cable that would
run between the remote power supply and the transceiver.  It would have
an extra heavily insulated wire for the transmitter plate power, a pair
of heavier gauge wires for the AC power switch, and the other voltages
(heater, bias, ..)  Is a suitable replacement like that available now?
I recall seeing some tab mounted aluminum case electrolytic capacitors
online, are they still available new?  Same with the multi-pin (8,
11, ..) cable and chassis mount connects used between the power supply
and radio, are they hard to find, or is there a suggested replacement
if you're not aiming for authenticity?
