Pretty much true of any of those old transmitters.  All one must do is 
mistune the grid and you are multiband.  Especially operating 40 and 15 at 
the same time.

I saw a caution of this in one of the many manuals I have read over the 
years and believe it was a Globe Scout 66 manual.

problems.  Never encountered any issues with the Globe Chief 90 or various 
Scouts, DX-40/60 etc. .. And have used all of those at one time or another.
