Last Call on some legacy AM broadcast gear: we're disposing of the last sets of
audio record & playback units used by radio stations to record "spots", e.g. com-
mercials, public svc, etc. Collins 216C mic preamp & 642A playback deck (2 ea).
Similar units from Gates: their mic preamp and two of their "twin" cart playback
decks. All this can be used as built ins or rackmount.
Come with manuals and good probability that they are reuseable. We've given
away half a dozen of these to Mom & Pop stations that are currently using them.
Two boxes of reuseable carts can be had: one box is NOS,the other used carts
These are single track tape carts that que up from a tone the mic preamp deck
lays down on them in record mode. Physically they look like plain jane 8 track
carts from the old days.
Pickup only in Central LA. NO SHIPPING. Being discarded in 10 days. Pictures
on request.
Cheers,
