Bob, Yes the iron vane meters are frustrating.  I always hated having to wait several seconds for the meter to stop wagging before I could take a measurement.  Yes the Ranger meter is high quality and would be a nice looking replacement.  I’ve been told the meter opening would need to be enlarged… that would be painful :)

I really appreciate originality but I’m more interested in using it on the air than restoring it back to 100% originality to sit on the shelf until the estate has to dump it. :)
