Hi Brad,

Yes and yes.   The advantage of the Matchbox is that it's a balanced 
tuner that is designed to feed your open wire feeders directly rather 
than through a (lossy) balun.    The W7FG dipole can't be beat,  not a 
problem after close to 20 years.
