[Boatanchors] Several Lifetimes of Vintage Projects

Well stated Bob. As I attempt to look in my garage I continue to be amazed by creative stacking of radios, parts, manuals, boxes, etc. Why do I have 40 file drawers of assorted manuals and books? Oh yea, I like to help folks needing manual assistance when I can. The sad part is when the inventory says I have a manual but I can't find it. Perhaps the overflow of 20+ file boxes is the problem? Then there is the sun room and attic. Mercy.

But......it is all fun.

Good point, Rob. Most museums have more stuff than they have room to
display, and I suspect their storage areas look more like a "hoard".

I think the tipping point may come when you find yourself stacking
radios for maximum utilization of shelf space rather than for visual
appeal. To me, this stuff is just 3-dimensional wallpaper, if I can't
look at it what's the point? But then I realized some time ago I
must be subconsciously trying to re-create the "Reconditioned Equipment
Department" at WRL where my novice rig came from, which seemed at the
time to have at least one of everything.
