Good point, Rob.   Most museums have more stuff than they have room to 
display, and I suspect their storage areas look more like a "hoard".

I think the tipping point may come when you find yourself stacking 
radios for maximum utilization of shelf space rather than for visual 
appeal.    To me, this stuff is just 3-dimensional wallpaper, if I can't 
look at it what's the point?      But then I realized some time ago I 
must be subconsciously trying to re-create the "Reconditioned Equipment 
Department" at WRL where my novice rig came from, which seemed at the 
time to have at least one of everything.
