My computers that use Microsoft Office 2000 always use protection. Any
bugs that may be there are inconsequential to my daily usage.

Two of my Win 10 machines were bought new with Microsoft Office 2013
installed. They are actively used on the Internet and regularly get Win
10 updates (generally once a month). They have never received an Office
2013 update through Microsoft's update process.

Of course, nothing is ever perfect but I've been a Windows user (from
V1.0) and a Microsoft Office user (from 5 1/4 inch floppies) since almost
the beginning of time, so I don't plan on changing. I've tried the
several free "office substitutes" but, for my use and applications, they
suck on form and features. I also tried the linusss OS years ago and it
fell into the "office substitutes" bucket real quick.
