[Boatanchors] Corrosion on tube pins and sockets

Hi,

Use a brass bristled brush for corrosion that is in 'chunks' and a
toothbrush (dental hygiene) for light oxidation. Don't use the spray. I
have the Deoxit in a small vial with a fine brush (comes with the vial).
It only takes a tiny amount. Spray splatters product all over everything
@ everywhere *.*! For the light oxidation I use the CRC electrical
contact cleaner with that toothbrush. The CRC is only available in spray
cans. I spray it on the toothbrush. For tube pins I have had success
with just a dry toothbrush and the CRC or Deoxit in the tube sockets.
Most time just rocking the tube a little or a couple of plug-unplug
cycles does the job. Do the least invasive and least messy thing.
