[Boatanchors] question about EF Johnson Navigator and CW note transmitted

Thank you.  It has been a while since I had to dig into my Ranger, but did remember something about a keyer circuit.I use mine on AM, but played with CW the last time it was on the bench and don't recall any issue with the CW note.

Hi Jim,

There is a keyer tube circuit that sequences the grid block keying to 
the VFO and the buffer and driver stages. That was add-on option during 
part of production (maybe always). All of the Rangers I have seen have 
that option installed. It hangs on the left side of the VFO cage, 
looking at it from the front. We nay be able to see it through the 
ventilation holes in the top of the cabinet so the cabinet might not 
have to be removed.
