Howie - is right. Why does this discussion get tossed around every few years? Are all of you copying and pasting your points, replies and counterpoints from the last time? It's getting kind of repetitive don't you think?

I’ve shipped many QST CQ HAM RADIO and 73 magazines via Media Mail over the
years- never a problem.

They are technical journals - period.
