[Boatanchors] Carbon Comp Resistors: The Darkness Gathers?

I’ve seen very few of these older carbon comp resistors that haven’t drifted up in resistance, whether new and uninstalled - or whether already in use and in equipment. I’ve seen the same in radio receivers, transmitters and audio amplifiers.
