Resistors do change value after years of storage / years of use. Re burn-in
at 150 degrees F in light roughing vacuum for 24 hrs or more. If they are
not stable after this, toss them. If they're OK, try and store in a warm
low humidity area. Might consider conformal coating. This info is from 35
years of aerospace engineering and assembly experience. Yes, we used carbon
comp resistors in "legacy " hardware in the '70s. 73 de don ad6pb
