[Boatanchors] QST Resizing

If folks are not getting enough technical value out of QST I can suggest QEX magazine. Very enjoyable, much more RF and theory and generally deeper material. Very interesting stuff (and very often over my head, but that is how we get better, isn't it?!)

I love reading the old QSTs, but the current magazine is pretty much worthless, in my opinion.

No depth, hardly any articles of interest and those of interest are old news. I'm not interested in what 5 year old girl just got her EXTRA Class License. The ARRL just doesn't get it. New cereal box licensed hams don't give a damn about the League or ham radio as a hobby and the guys interested in ham radio are interested in stuff QST passes over or treats lightly. I too enjoy Electric Radio. I haven't seen a CQ magazine in years. I dropped them for lack of quality articles years ago. All I hear now about them is the issues don't show up or show up late. I don't need that type of aggravation.
