Try getting in touch with Howard Mills W3HM. If anyone knows about
that shaft coupling it will be Howard.

Once you get it working right, I'd get rid of it. If you want a
vintage 100 w. rig, look for a Viking 1. Way way easier to work on.

Collins took 200% and smashed it into a 100% cabinet just so it would
match the 75A receivers and look pretty sitting side by side on a
ham's nice wood desk with a pipe, key, ash tray, microphone, log book
and pen. It was the dawn of the bandswitched, operator not repairer
era.

I haven't powered it up yet and don't have any info from the previous owner, so I have my fingers crossed (hi). This transmitter has a broken flexible shaft-coupling in the main tuning gear train. It looks like it will be "difficult" to change! I haven't found any information on-line about restoring these rigs, so if you know of any, I would appreciate a lead.
