[Boatanchors] Collins 32V- Repairs (Was RE: HT 32 help)

There may be some documentation on restoring the 32V- series equipment out there.  However, there is nothing that I can find on the Collins Collectors' Association webpage.  I have restored a few of the 32V- series transmitters and the main thing is that they can be a real pain in the posterior to get at certain components!

Glen,

Thanks for the tip about the Collins 32V and the Hallicrafters rigs.  I have a 32V-3 on the bench right now.  I haven't powered it up yet and don't have any info from the previous owner, so I have my fingers crossed (hi).  This transmitter has a broken flexible shaft-coupling in the main tuning gear train.  It looks like it will be "difficult" to change!  I haven't found any information on-line about restoring these rigs, so if you know of any, I would appreciate a lead.
