Unfortunately, in spite of unnamed individuals and domestic groups, we do
have some anti-ballistic missile defenses. But we do not have that I have
heard even rumors of any anti-satellite killer defenses. And even if we
did, available response times for any satellite defenses are on average one
half or less than the available response times against all but submarine
launched ballistic missiles. So if it ever came to a real shooting war, the
first thing that we would lose would be GPS.

I have a GPS Disciplined 10MHZ oscillator.
So I have time AND a 10MHZ signal to check my radio by.
If Uncle Sam is so short sighted, I won't miss it one single iota!

Ditto on setting clocks here since the 1950s. Also, since I'm mostly into
homebrew receivers, its nice to have dependable calibration signals on the
WWV frequencies. I use them all the time and would hate to see them go. CHU
reception is not as dependable here. JJY is occasionally heard under WWV /
WWVH. I have no GPS equipment here and don't plan on getting any, except in
the car. Help save WWV /WWVH, a valuable and economical resource.
