I'm not sure what QST you're looking at but column wise QST has had the
"The World Above 50 MHz" column (stuff about VHF and above) since the
beginning of time. Likewise, the DX column is now called "How's DX" and
there's a host of other columns. I don't remember QST having a YL column
(unless it was a 100 years ago) although I think CQ Mag. had a YL column.
back in the old days.
