[Boatanchors] The Silence of the Bands.

Fellow Amateurs,

Yesterday was a prime example of what things are causing the loss of 
signals.

The entire day was a massive C Class Solar Flare, with major X-ray streams.

Science articles several years ago gave the information that the Sun is 
hitting us with at least 10% more heat than it ever has.

IOW, our Sun is entering its late stage in life.  We just won't be 
around to see its end.
