That's true.....I forgot to mention that I checked the broadcast band and I
couldn't hear but 1 or 2 local stations....one of them I can see the
antennas but could hardly hear them.

Its band conditions. Yesterday, a holiday, all day, not only was there zero
CW activity but zero SSB as well. And astoundingly, for periods there was
zero SW broadcasting, truly zero ... not even the usual flame thrower
multiple copies of Rev. Stair on every band, and no Radio Havana Cuba.a
carrier
Really no sign ... not even the carriers of the SW stations, in a 5 Hz [sic]
bandwidth!
That's really bad propagation to not get a carrier.

ago, tuning from 3500-3550 at night and 7000-7100
any non-contest time, one would have heard many CW QSOs.
The last several times I've listened, it's one or two. Or none.
