[Boatanchors] BC-348 Question

Thanks Joe for the web leads.  I looked them up and printed out the manual.  I did some additional searching and found several email reflectors with some threads on the BC-348.  It looks like the Micamolds are universally scorned and loathed.  One poster mentioned that every single Micamold cap in his 348 was bad.  Another poster said he preferred to only replace ones that went bad, and after having the radio crap out every month with another cap, just gave in and replaced them all :)

I am going to order a bunch of 0.5 mfd and 0.01 mfd caps and just wholesale replace them.
