[Boatanchors] How do I lay coaxial cable underground?

Hi Bob,
I have and use what looks like about a nine inch, flat bladed shovel. It
is about a nine inch, flat bladed shovel known as a "tile spade":) I
only occasionally "bury" a wire so it is not worthwhile buying motorized
machinery for that purpose. Mine opens a slot in the sod. Connect the
dots pushing the blade into the sod to make adjacent cuts. Tuck the wire
or cable into the slot. Then walk along the length of the slot closing
the top edges together underfoot. Just try and find it again two hours
later!
For wider cables or flexible tubing, rock the tile spade a little more
to widen the slot a little. It will still push back together by walking
on it. Don't push the cable into the slot with the tile spade. It will
hamburger and spaghetti of your cable. Use your fingertips.
