[Boatanchors] NC-46 AC line isolation ideas

I am slowly moving my NC-46 up the list for restoration. Would love to be
able to fully isolate the ac line input but, at this time, I am just going
to use an external isolation transformer.  But hope springs eternal - does
anyone have any great ideas of how to achieve isolation without mucking up
the whole unit?
