[Boatanchors] WTB: Stand alone HF Receiver

Gang,

My multi-year HBR-16 Receiver project is currently on the bench with audio
and sensitivity problems. I may do a total rebuild stem to stern this fall.

So in the meantime...

Im utilizing my rebuilt Lafayette HA-350 (Trio-Kenwood) on HF paired with
my DX-100. I've installed all of the audio and "B" version mods. Works
GREAT!

Excellent AM station I must admit.

But, I'd like to procure the best receiver that was available back in the
in late 60's and early 70's for general station use.

Recommendations?
