Hi Wayne,
I listened to Shep in the same manner as you. Transistor radio under the
pillow, earphone, and so forth.
I used to bust a gut when he did his rendition of "The Bear missed the
Train"
which was a bastardization of the famous Yiddish song: Be Mir Bis Du Schoen.
