VERY well put Dale, and I wish the nay sayers (who think this proposal should stand) would stop
trying to deliberately rephrase the issue and gloss over the problem.

Blowing this off.. is NOT the correct approach, if you intend to keep your ham license valid and operating on the air. History proves, any time these "minor adjustments to keep things current" come along without responses by the ham population, additional
"adjustments" are made, until the responses get loud, and endless.. of course.. have you EVER seen the retraction of "minor adjustments"?
So, keep whittling away, and rather soon, you will see an announcement about the upcoming auction of a new resource available immediately, for commercial interests.... (can you say- broadband for the masses ?)
and.. oh.. btw.. hams will be allocated the same freq.. on a secondary use basis...
now that works just ducky doesn't it?
What? Are we too "preoccupied with......" to click a mouse a few times, and type for less than a minute.. one more click.. spend a total of less time than it took to read this ... to make a comment? Really?
CW may not be YOUR thing.. but it is someone's... and if you want to give up the cw bands.. can you just make one guess about what is next?.. Remember.. we are using a valuable resource. Remember the 220 hassle with UPS? who won that one? Also remember
way way back? What we learned as to why we have access to the bands we do? Being uncommitted is the fastest way to have nothing to commit to!
Have a great day,
