I just checked a couple of places and found 6DQ5 tubes for 10 dollars.  Is 
that considered expensive?

OR...is there a mod or tube substitution that can be made instead of the
6DQ5?
I have a basketfull of 6DQ6s, but I can't find any info that they are a
good substitution.
Any help greatly appreciated!
