I use my vintage National NCX-5 or NCX-3 transceivers on a regular basis.
Neither requires a net operation to have some vintage SSB radio fun. I
run into stations all the time using Drakes, Swans, Hallicrafters,
Yaesus, Kenwoods and even some lesser known vintage SSB rigs.
