After reading the various replies to my post about the accuracy of my
voltmeters, I will retract my skepticism of the accuracy to DMD's. in
general and mine in particular. I bought a voltage standard on eBay.
I found my DMM very accurate while my HP 410B, 410C, and RCA WE-77 were
off by varying amounts.

There are two possible outcomes: if the result confirms the hypothesis, then you've made a measurement.
