Don't know about grid block but with cathode key it is fun to put the
rig into a DL and sample the RF on an oscilloscope and look at the key
rise and fall, and add some capacitance to ground from the cathode
upping the amount until you have a nice shape to the keying and no
clicks.  The rigs like the Adventurer when stock could click and be a
problem.  It might take a few mfd to get it right.  Those 1 mfd 600 v.
yellow polypropylene caps are great for this.

I got my Knight T-50 to where it sounded just like a modern rig when
used with a TO Keyer and HA-5 VFO.
