It is not changing band conditions when it occurs at 8-9 PM on 75 meters,
it is blatant interference. I have heard them brag about running AM QSOs
off frequency so moving only emboldens them. I say to do as Don says, turn
up the wick and give back, that eventually will cause them to stop, moving
doesn't.

I do encourage anyone to establish a QSO where they desire and not let the
intentional ops cause that much trouble. What galled me on one QSO is I
heard a 9 call that I recognized and he should not have bragged about
causing interference. I won't recommend the equipment he sells now, even
though I have one and it is good.

As for "ARM", why not? We have an organization that administers the tests
and many of us are competent enough to know what to do and when to do it.

**** At times it could be just changing band conditions. Sometimes it
just doesn't pay to try and understand the stupidity and ignorance of
some operators that may be doing it intentionally. But, on the same
token, it doesn't make sense just to sit by and piss and moan about it.
Do the recordings and send them in. If it's intentional interference,
moving to another frequency will in time make their desire dwindle, but
then again, stupidity doesn't generally dwindle with time either. Getting
out of the imaginary AM Window and flexing your wings on other part of
the band is really what everyone needs to do. As long as the imaginary AM
Windows exists in the minds of AM operators and their daily AM operating,
it is like painting a target on your back.

> I would support the FCC establishing a quasi government/civilian
organization to help enforce the rules. It sure seems the FCC doesn't
care.

**** You probably would have better luck winning a lottery. But it you
establish such an organization, you can call it the "Amateur Radio
Militia" or ARM for short.
