It's important to spread out as Pete says. Ditch this "AM Window"
concept and spread out. We need folks operating down below 3650
especially because ARRL wants to take that away and have FCC make it a
part of the no-phone CW 80 meter band.

Yesterday I called CQ on 3610. No answers as it was early but no
hassles from anyone either. then I called CQ on 3885 and within 15
minutes I had a QSO with a few stations. You guys need to spin the
knob on your receivers and find out what's going on all over the phone
band instead of parking on 3885. More AMers are leaving the "AM
Window" Zoo and moving down band.

Yes, yess, you will have to retune your rig, and put up a dipole with
ladder line and a link coupled tuner to cover the whole band. Oh, the
humanity!

I guess above it is okay too but for some reason I am unaware of any
AM activity above 3890. Probably more congestion higher up and not
less.
