Folks,

This is the 100th Anniversary of the US Park System.

The license is a privilege.  Certainly not remotely a *right*.

Any place in the bands that are allowed Voice Communications simply means that for your class of license,, you can use ANY Voice Communications.

I even got on yesterday, SSB BTW, and helped these folks gather their numbers FROM A US PARK, to Commemorate this Anniversary.

I happen to believe that this is worthwhile.  It isn't MY preferred mode!  However, it is well within the current Part 97 Rules and Regulations.

I'd be more inclined to take the League and the FCC to task over taking an extra 50Kc out of Voice and placed into WinLink for those that have far too much money in their Yachts, and use this for Email!  How about they HAVE to get a Commercial License, and have to use Bandwidth in a Commercial Segment of the FCC Allocation?
