The problem with the newer Weller soldering  guns is that the trigger 
switch goes bad on a regular basis.  There are  switches available that cost 
between a third and a half of what a new gun  costs.  I have replaced a number 
of these switches in the past 10-years,  or so.

I have my  weller  from  when I was a kid  but  it  is a 2   wire  one  Ed#
