Sherry,

This happens to I think most of us every so often. It depends mainly I
think on who your ISP is. Some are worse about bouncing emails from the
reflector than others. It has may have nothing directly to do with whether you
sent a message that day or not. Although in the case of AOL and Compuserve,
it appears that they are worse about bouncing my copy of sent messages than
they are messages from anyone else. In my case, I apparently fixed the
problem by logging into my account and telling the server to send an ACK message
whenever I sent a message to the list, instead of repeating back the message
I had just sent. In your case, as you didn't send a message on the 5th,
bellsouth.net must be bouncing some of the regular list traffic from qth.net..

In any case, find and open the server message, click REPLY, don't write
anything or change anything, and click SEND. That should take care of it for a
month or two.

And no, the long random letters and numbers string is not your password.
It is just a random string that the server temporarily assigned to
automatically recognize your reply.

If you don't know what Randy's password was, after you send the reply,
start your browser and go to www.qth.net, try to log in, and click the Forgot My
Password button that should show up somewhere. The server should send a
message to I assume comcents at bellsouth.net with a new temporary password.
Using it, log in, and go to your account and change the password to something
you can remember. Or have recorded somewhere not on the computer.
